8/28/07 Western Springs/Cicero Zone

Breakfast as I have have said many times that that may be my favorite meal. This breakfast was incredible a very tasty cheese
omelet perfectly grilled sausage patties, fresh fruit and a variety of sweet pastries with good coffee, a great way to start the day.
President John has 17 members now and has a goal of 5 net new members.
A steak fry coming up very soon is just one of the fund raisers.
There are 11 different projects underway that the 51 year old Club does every year.

Meeting #2
The Rotary Club of Cicero meets in an Italian Restaurant, they provided a splendid Italian buffet I had a big salad and a slice of pizza.
The meeting place is convenient and large enough to be able to grow with the Club size.
Membership has increased slightly over the last couple of months.
We discussed the possibility of starting a new Club in Cicero and this will remain in the review pile for now.
A dictionary project is being considered to be added to the other club projects.

Meeting #3
Easter Seals came to Naperville this evening and we completed the car raffle outline for the Clubs in area four, details to follow.

On the 29 we will attend the wake for Barbara Stickweh's mother.
There will be another Conference meeting in the evening
This conference will be so different we are calling it the "UN-Conference" more later

I will need to spend a couple of days at my business as my manager will be on vacation.
All next week Sandy and I will be in Davenport for the Rotary Zone Meeting.
