The Cruise ship went to Oak Park

August 5,2007
Michele Thornton [you know the one that owns all those gas stations I think] hosted the GSE team members and committee at her home in Oak Park.
We reviewed the trip with the Team to France and it was a TOTAL success in every way, thanks PDG Sue for a great location.
The host families here, also had a great time. The GSE Team Leader selection will take place August 18th and for the first time
in a long time we have 7 excellent candidates to interview.
Remember we are now looking for Team Members age 25 to 40 that are NON Rotarians to fill the four slots on the team.
I would like no less than 16 applicants this year. Get your "ASK" in gear.
Contact Michele Thornton --mtl@thorntonpowell.com -- District Chair. The interview date for applicants is October 20th.
Think about who you can SHARE Rotary with by taking advantage of this great Rotary Foundation Project. There is no cost to the Club unless your candidate is selected and if that happens the only cost at that time is to send them to the District Conference.
It is not too soon to begin looking for a team member.
The team will go to District 2090 in Italy for 4 weeks the last two weeks of May and the first two weeks in June.
Let's SHARE Rotary with the Italians!!
