The Safari had avery short tour today, only 12 miles total.
My closest visit is Bolingbrook. The Club meets at an almost new Holiday Inn and had a private room for the Board meeting as well as a great private meeting room for lunch.
Today the meal was NOT chicken [not that there is anything wrong with chicken] but for some reason the chicken union must have a strong hand with our Rotary Clubs.
The meal was great, a nice salad, filet of beef done medium rare, a double baked potato, broccoli and key lime pie for desert. So far # 1 for food and circuses. We will
keep up the Safari survey.
The Rotary Club of Bolingbrook has 32 years of service and service it does, dictionaries, dinners for seniors, operation Christmas, Alliance for Smiles and the Cambodian Orphanage project just to mention a few. The Club has a weekly ad in the local paper and a goal of net 5 new members this year and I had the pleasure of inducting the first new member of the year today = WAY TO GO"!
We can all expect great things from this Club and President Pastor Paul Carlson.
